Transitioning to Be Genki International, a non-profit organization!

In April, 2014, Hashiba Institute transitioned to form a non-profit organization, Be Genki International.  Founded in 2009, Hashiba Institute was dedicated to supporting a movement toward self-sustainable health - away from a dependency on the current “disease-focused” healthcare system and toward a model based on every individual’s ability to define and attain personal health.  Be Genki International, along with its founders, are excited to continue this movement of supporting local communities live healthier lives.

Our mission is to create a world of healthy, "genki" individuals and communities through education. "Genki" is a Japanese word meaning "vitality" and "health", and is a commonly used word in Japanese language.  The word "genki" literally means "when our energy returned to its natural state, we are healthy and full of vitality".  Our goal is to find ways that we can all BE GENKI both as individuals and communities!

We are currently working on our new website, www.begenki.org.  Check back soon and we'll let you know when we're ready to go!
Until then, if you have any questions or need more information, please email us at info@begenki.org!
